Weekend fun is catching up fast with the new era young and old alike. If you are in India, there are many places where you can visit on weekend. There are many places near Delhi and if you plan in advance with your friends or colleagues at office or relatives or elder parents, you can surely have a wonderful holiday. Now many organizations also organize outdoor activities for their employees on weekends and introduce new avocation activities as a part of their personal development program. On weekend you can take up many activities such as:
- Read a good book or listen to music.
- Get Together with friends or relatives.
- Work for a social cause with friends or spouse or even with elder members of the family or even take your children and can visit any NGO and teach underpriviledged children or collect books, stationery or other items which can be donated to NGO's and schools in rural areas. This can be a good example for your children also when you work towards community welfare activity.
- Enjoy window shopping in the nearby shopping areas.
- Watch a movie.
- Play games such as badminton or tennis or any other sports activity.
- Visit a nearby holiday spot.
- Learn a creative activity or take up a creative activity such as painting, play guitar or any other musical instrument or learn salsa dance or any other form of Indian classical dance, or create interesting items from waste material at home or any other creative activity.
- Weekend Seminar or Conference.
- Visit any Exhibition center or theater.
